Making your website easier to use

May 2, 2023
To help make our services more accessible to all our members, your website has now been improved to give you extra support if you need it.

Your Fund website now features a new accessibility toolbar, which allows you to use the website in a way that works best for you.

Aiming to make things as easy as possible for you, the toolbar can support everyone, but it will be particularly helpful if you have:

  • visual needs
  • hearing needs
  • cognitive needs
  • neurodivergent needs

New features to help you understand and manage your pension

The accessibility toolbar is available on desktops, mobiles and tablets. It allows you to customise the website with options such as:

  • s text to speech feature, so you can hear the website content instead
  • changing font sizes
  • applying filters to help with colour blindness
  • highlighting page links
  • language choices
  • modifying text and colour contrasts
  • pausing flashing animations

This means if you have additional needs you can use the website in a way that works best for you, helping you manage your pension more effectively.

Using the toolbar

You can access the toolbar from this website at any time. Just look for a blue circle with the person icon on it. This can be found on the right of your screen.

You don’t have to download anything to use it. You can customise how the website looks and works even if you’re not logged into your online myFund account.

You can select the option/s that you need, and choose more than one at a time if you need to. If you don’t want to use a particular feature, you can just deselect that option.

The toolbar will remember your preferences for the next time you visit the site. Although you will need to re-launch the toolbar, it will remember your previously selected preferences.

There’s also a reset button located at the bottom of the toolbar that will clear all the options you’ve selected.

If you’d like to turn off the toolbar, simply select the white cross in the top-right corner of the toolbar.
