Pension Attention is back for 2026

Sep 9, 2026
This autumn, give your pension some attention with useful tips and free impartial advice from industry experts. Because small actions today could make a difference to your future.

Here’s what’s happening in 2026.

Pension Attention 2026

The annual Pension Attention campaign is back for 2026, running from 4 September to 2 October.

Led by the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and Pensions UK, the campaign is encouraging people across the UK to take a few simple steps to think about their future.

This year's message is simple: small actions can help things grow. Whether that's:

  • checking your pension savings
  • finding a pension you've lost touch with
  • understanding how much you might need in retirement
Spending just a few minutes on your pension today could help you feel more prepared for tomorrow.

As a member of the Railways Pension Scheme (RPS), one of the easiest ways to get started is by logging in to your myFund account. You can check your details, review your nominations, and explore the information and tools available to help you plan ahead.

You don't need to make big decisions straight away. Pension Attention is all about taking that first step and seeing where you stand.

Ready to get started? Log in to your myFund account and check in on your pension today.

You can find out more about the campaign by visiting the Pension Attention website and following its social channels.

Pension Awareness 2026

Pension Awareness runs from 15-16 September 2026, including free live online shows with pensions experts on various money and pension topics.

The campaign is encouraging you to take just two minutes to today to see where you stand with your pension. In less time than it takes you to make a cup of tea, you could take your pension planning from "I'll deal with it later" to "Why didn't I start this sooner?".

Visit Pension Awareness for free impartial advice on common pension problems, as well as other money matters like savings, debt, and budgeting.

And don’t forget to sign up to join the shows.
