You can use the forms on this page to help you manage and update your pension.

Use the forms to manage your Fund pension

You’ll find a variety of forms relating to your Fund pension below. Simply select the specific topics from the list to find the form you need.

In most cases you’ll be asked to fill in these forms as part of a broader process and we’ll let you know when it’s required.

You might find it quicker and easier to make some changes online instead. You can do this by logging in to your myFund account, or registering for a myFund account if you don't already have one.

Nominations for death benefits

Transfers

You can find more information on transfers, including when a transfer is/isn’t possible and the information you may need to provide on the transferring my pension page.

Transfers in

If you want to transfer your benefits from a different pension provider to the Fund, you can use the transfer-in request form. 

Transfers out

If you want to transfer your pension, you may need to get financial advice first. Use the transfers guidance form to tell us when that’s been done, otherwise you may not be able to proceed with your transfer.

The pension scams questionnaire will help us consider if you are putting yourself at risk if you go ahead with a transfer. Please read the guidance document before completing the questionnaire.

You can use this Overseas Transfer Allowance form to tell us about other pensions you are either receiving or have transferred to an overseas pension provider.

These indemnity forms are used to confirm a transfer from the BTPFSF to your new provider. There is 1 for you to fill in and 1 for your new provider to fill in.

BRASS and AVC Extra

Changing funds

Use the forms below if you would like to change the funds you are invested in for BRASS or AVC Extra. 

Taking your pot

If you want to take your BRASS or AVC Extra pot, you may need to get advice from the Government’s Pension Wise service first. Use the retirement guidance form below to tell us when that’s been done.


Ill-health retirement

If you can’t continue to work due ill-health, please complete the Ill-health request form. 


Leaving the Fund/opting out

If you have been auto-enrolled and want to opt out of your ​Scheme pension, please complete the auto-enrolment opt-out form. You can read more about opting out on the leaving the Fund pages:
